For the bubble football the group is split into teams and play against each other and possibly other teams on the day. We normally run half of the number of quads for your group size, but dependant on your skill levels can run a minimum of a third of the number of quads for your group size.

Our quad biking is a physical activity. By splitting the group into 2 this allows for people to have a breather in between drives. This makes the session more relaxed and potentially the small break allows the driver to relax and refresh. The safe waiting is track side so whilst waiting you are able to watch the other part of the group.

No you will be at an advantage if this is the case. This is because the games are played in fun manner, normally we make up the rules, and anyone taking too seriously will probably get a red card!
What is the minimum/maximum group size?

Bubble football is a team game. It does require a minimum team 10 people to play at least 5 a side. Normally we will have other teams present in order to allow for a knockout or round robin tournament, or you may just play amongst yourselves. If your team size is less than 10 people and no other teams are playing we will offer you a choice of playing a different format or another activity.

Predominantly we are open on Saturday for group bookings, but do open during the week. Any booking would be subject to availability and group size. Please call to discuss options.
How long does the session last?

Each activity slot is dependent on your group size. As a guide, for each activity 1-6 people it will take 30 minutes, 8-10 people 45 minutes and 11-15 people one hour. So Double this time if you are doing 2 activities, triple time for 3 activities and so on. In certain circumstances such as a small group where your health and safety could be at risk from overconfidence, we may reduce this time. Alternatively if you are acting beyond what Max Events, or our instructors deem safe/acceptable, you will be asked to leave the activity. No refunds will apply for misuse of equipment.

This is dependant on the package booked but we ask that you arrive half hour prior to the start of your activities, and you will need at least 15 minutes from when the activities have finished to getting in your car.

No driving license is required but drivers must be 16 and over. The quads have plenty of power but are designed for a maximum of 23 stone or 150 kg. For football we have a minimum height guide of 5ft 4.

Max Events carries £5 million public liability insurance. This covers us and you in the event of our negligence subject to the terms and conditions of the policy. By taking part in an activity you are accepting that there are risks, you are provided with all instruction necessary to complete the activity safely, if you choose to ignore our instructions and operate any equipment beyond your ability or the boundaries that we provide then you will not be covered, it does not cover you for acts of stupidity or if an incident arises beyond our control. Please be aware any activity we offer can result in injury or death.

Bubble Football is a fast paced, energetic game. We suggest its not suitable if you are pregnant, or have any underlying health concerns. Whilst we can advise, we suggest asking your GP. Quad biking does require good balance, one leg either side of the saddle for stability and hands on the steering, the throttle is on the right hand side of the bike, brakes on the left and right, and emergency engine kill switch is on the left hand side of the handle bars. It is a requirement for a rider to be able to control all these functions. For your safety please contact us before your event day if any of your group has any Medical, Physical or Mental conditions or disabilities which might affect them taking part in the activities.

Unfortunately we cannot control the weather. We work very hard to ensure your event runs smoothly and with the required activities in your booking. If we feel we have a health and safety issue we would try and make contact in the week prior to your arrival and offer some alternative suggestions. In extreme circumstances on the day we may have to offer an alternative activity which carries an equal or greater value. Please be aware no refunds will be made if we are open and you cannot make the event, for whatever reason.

Yes we provide all necessary safety equipment for each activity, as outlined by our insurance obligations. In all circumstances to comply with our insurance, helmets are compulsory. You can bring your own helmet as long as it conforms to British safety standards.

All our tracks are outdoors so this is dependant on the weather. Hot and sunny you will get dusty, wet and you will get muddy. We do provide overalls if its wet and muddy but not fresh for each individual person, we do have a range of overalls for sale on the day, prices start at £2.00 and in most cases this is enough to keep you relatively clean.

Yes, it’s not a problem, so long as it does not have the potential to be caught in any moving parts, does not impair vision, means you are still wearing the correct footwear and safety gear.
